A plantation drive was conducted at Delhi Public School, Rishikesh on 22nd July, 2025, with the aim of fostering environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among students.
The students of Class 12th, accompanied by the Principal, Mrs. Neelam Thapliyal, and teachers, planted saplings within the school premises. This thoughtful initiative by the outgoing batch served as a symbolic gesture—leaving behind a living legacy that will continue to grow with the institution.
Junior students also took part in the drive with great enthusiasm. Guided by their Principal and teachers, they engaged in age-appropriate plantation activities, learning about the importance of trees and sustainability. The experience nurtured in them a deep respect for nature and encouraged them to contribute to a greener future.
The drive reflected the school’s unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and offered all students a meaningful opportunity to connect with and care for their natural surroundings.
